At the recent Chicago Home & Housewares Show, themed tableware sets with unified styles and scenario-based displays became the highlight of the exhibition. From ceramic plates and bowls with retro floral patterns, to matching-colored glassware, and playful sets featuring flamingos or cherries, these "collection-style" products not only attracted numerous buyers but also confirmed a trend already validated in the European market: themed, collection-based tableware display and bundled sales have become the core mainstream of the global home goods market.
This trend did not emerge overnight. As early as September 2025, when we visited home goods boutiques in cities such as Madrid, Spain, and Florence, Italy, we noticed that leading local home furnishings retailers had already moved beyond the traditional model of “scattered displays of single product categories”:
At the La Maison du Monde store in Madrid, a set of blue-and-yellow floral ceramic plates and bowls was paired with matching blue-rimmed glass cups and gold-plated stainless steel cutlery to recreate a Mediterranean breakfast scene. According to a sales associate, the monthly sales of this set are 2.7 times higher than those of individual items in the same category.
In the home goods section of Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella in Florence, a combination of vintage-patterned ceramic trays and amber-colored glass cups is used to create an “Italian afternoon tea” scene. The average transaction value for this set reaches 89 euros, far exceeding the average transaction value for individual items (32 euros).
Today, this trend has spread from Europe to North America, becoming a key direction in global tableware consumption.

Full-Category Coverage: We specialize in the design and production of ceramic tableware, and also cover a complete range of dining products, including glassware and stainless steel cutlery, meeting all needs for collection-based combinations. Currently, we have developed over 30 themed collections, covering retro floral, fresh fruit themes (cherry/flamingo), minimalist luxury, and other styles.
Themed Design: Tailored to different market preferences, we offer complete sets of matching ceramic plates/bowls, glassware, and stainless steel cutlery for each theme. For example, our "Flamingo Theme Collection" includes pink-green striped ceramic plates, clear glass pitchers embedded with flamingo figurines, matching glasses, and gold stainless steel cutlery. In 2024, 120,000 sets were exported to the US, and they are deeply loved by young consumers.
Flexible LCL Shipment: We have a warehouse of over 15,000 square meters in Guangzhou, Guangdong, which can support custom mixing of ceramic tableware like fresh design lemon serie tableware, glassware like glass cups and goblets, and stainless steel cutlery in containers according to customer requirements (e.g., 70% ceramic + 20% glass + 10% cutlery), optimizing logistics costs and inventory pressure to the greatest extent. Importers no longer need to coordinate with multiple suppliers separately, enabling efficient stock preparation. Our European clients report that the LCL shipment model has reduced their logistics costs by 18% and improved inventory turnover efficiency by 25%.

From the buzz at the Chicago Show to the mature practices in the European market, the trend of themed, collection-based tableware consumption is irreversible. For importers, the earlier you deploy full-category collection-style products, the sooner you can seize market opportunities and claim a share of the global dining aesthetic dividend.
