If the China breaks, it must be thrown away. The problem is that ordinary China can be thrown away, but if the valuable China breaks, you can imagine the bad feeling. Today I’m going to talk about a way to put broken porcelain back together.

1.Making wheat lacquer
What is wheat lacquer? Wheat lacquer is a patching material made from wheat flour mixed with raw lacquer (a kind of natural lacquer) and stirred well.

Whisk the wheat flour with water until it is as soft as dough. Mix the raw lacquer into the wheat flour and keep stirring until you can pull the silk out with a chopstick or wooden stick. We call this form wheat lacquer.
2.Repairing your Beloved China
① Prepare the broken pieces and apply wheat paint to the edges of the broken pieces.
② Then point the broken piece at the other piece and do this until you have all the pieces glued together.

③ Remove the overflowing part of the wheat paint with a wooden plate shovel.
④ Let stand until the wheat paint is completely dry. Because the wheat lacquer is dry thoroughly need time longer, during this period can be wrapped with plastic wrap a circle, in case of accidentally knock against after fracture again.
⑤ After completely dry, take off the plastic wrap, and then fill the joint with “concentrate” (concentrate is made of raw lacquer and strop stone powder) and dry it.
⑥ After all dry, paint with the same color as the porcelain is applied to the fracture to make it consistent with other textures.
